Joining the Discussion

What do we mean to accomplish here? We've, or rather I have written the book, but what's the main point? Why write the book without allowing people to joining the discussion? That's not what I've done though, as many who read the book will come to find out, I call for everyone to talk about what I proposed, debate it, offer their own views and solutions and for all of that information to be shared with each other until we can agree by a majority of what we want to see in our Constitution and why. If we cannot come together and agree on a set of rules for each other that does no harm to anyone, does not limit the freedoms of anyone, we cannot have Justice, we cannot have Liberty, for when there is a take away of any Liberty or Justice from any but guaranteed to others, there is no Justice or Liberty, only oppression, tyranny and dictation from an exclusive party.
So what I propose is that we have a national forum to discuss these issues in an organized manner, we have a vote upon a document that we can all, mostly agree on that does not limit anyone's right to freedom or personal liberty. We strengthen and define the Constitution to fit in our modern times so that it no longer needs interpretation, our generations now living can define what the guiding principles and our consent to be governed by is.
But we also know and recognize that there is much to discuss, much to be debated, many more issues than anyone person could possibly have insight about. Which is why I have created a Facebook group to offer the space to hold some of these discussions until others are having these discussions in more appropriate places and amongst more appropriate people, but, with the caveat that it is the People themselves who get to conclude and have a voice in what it is that will be our guiding document, the People may not be forsaken or excluded from it. It is not for back room discussions, it is not for business or industry, it is for the People, the People are the very spirit and essence, the very matter of what constitutes a People and a Nation.
To this end I ask everyone to bring their deliberations together peacefully, respectfully, without malice or staunchly held ground. To compromise and work together in the greatest thing our living generations can ever work towards, a peaceful agreement and understanding to change the face of everything we despise from our opposing sides and correct our current course of actions. Resolve the troubles that bother us and return to a state of contentment and focus on the real issues of our nation. No more political infighting, we have far bigger issues to address from finance to term limits, social justice and equality, religious freedom and freedom from religion, collusion and corruption, definition of terms on power and accountability. The weaponizing of law and entire departments, rhetoric that shows we no longer have a sense of decorum or respect for each other, let alone our allies and partners in the bigger world that is much larger than the United States.
Join me on my facebook group and engage in the conversation as we work together to resolve many of the issues we have, even if you're only joining to see what the conversations are about, or what you would like to leave in place, and why.
I don't want to do this alone, I should not and will not do this alone because this is not just about one persons opinion or perspective, this is a nation of many people, many beliefs, many views and values and I treasure that melting pot that has created the nation we have, even if we are a little off track right now. Let us collaborate and bring something to the light together, read my book for some more insights, but more importantly, add your voice to the chorus because it's about all of us, no exclusions or subtractions, every voice, every Citizen, every angle is important.
