Why Rewrite the Constitution?

Something that was intentionally left out of my book was why we should rewrite the constitution. Plain and simple, everyone should be talking about why, not going off of what I wrote, or what my opinion was, but I will offer it here. I think we should rewrite our constitution because it will help resolve a number of issues that we are having. Such as career politicians, lifelong seats on the Supreme Court, challenged liberties and freedoms of the Citizens, bills that the people need to pass being thwarted by political or business interests, political infighting and putting Americans in harms way because of party differences, such as a government shutdown and the finger pointing that came from it while every day Citizens went without the pay they need to pay their bills, feed themselves and their families while trying to weather late fees and increased debt loads because someone didn't want to ensure that they were paid so they could continue living. Things of this nature cannot simply happen, its a government, you can't just simply shut it down and cut things off, you can't force people who rely on their government to cut off their funding, most especially their food.
So what does this have to do with rewriting our most sacred document? Well, it aims to put term limits in place for politicians, it aims to give more power back to the people to have a greater ability to have control of their government by offering the ability to Ostracize members that aren't doing the work they were elected to do, without banishment as most are aware that actually know their history.
We also guarantee and limit powers enumerated to branches and maintain that the branches cannot work in tandem to propel the ideas of one party over another, nor the whims of any one person which our Founding Fathers were explicit about preventing. Work together yes, but not at the ideas of one person against the Liberty and Freedom of others.
Thomas Jefferson wrote about needing to have a Constitutional Convention every generation as every generation is different and more enlightened than the last. We are far removed from the generations that created the first constitution and long overdue for some changes that need to be stronger than an Amendment.
So I made some proposals to correct issues, but I offered it up in my book to change it in a way where we all have a say, not just my proposals, not just me, I don't speak for everyone and I don't pretend to. Everyone should have a say, it is for the consent of the governed, which, is all of us, not just me, not just one party, not just one idea. It needs collaboration, it needs compromise, it needs other experts in various fields to weigh in, but the goal remains the same, what best promotes the General Welfare, Security, Liberty and Freedoms of The People. All the Citizens, all of us, not just the wealthy, not just the powerful, not business, not other interests, the People. What will best effect the Peoples security and Liberty for every single Citizen?
That's what my book is about, and we round it off in a new Constitution proposal to change what is for all of us, no matter what party we belong to, no matter how we see the issues, the guide is there to make sure that we all have an equal say and can work together on what matters most to all of us. Many hands making light work and ensuring that we are all free to live out our lives as much as we can in happiness, contentment and with Freedom and Liberty to be ourselves without anyone else shoving their ideals down our throats by the rule of law. Everyone has the same rights, otherwise, one persons right weighed against another is no right at all, it is oppression and tyranny, corruption and serves no place in our society with Liberty and Justice for All. One Nation, United for each other despite the differences between us.
